One Job to Do

Every women’s empowerment series and almost every televangelist shouts from the proverbial mountain top that we should do something great.  We are constantly challenged with a life-altering Word or a prophetic utterance that is the key to unlock great things in our lay ministry, such as it is.   Honestly, I am not being sarcastic; I just want to know what happens to us when “great” is not so great?   What happens when our assignment is simply to mother our children, or to do our job as the sole Christian amongst the Babylonians, or to clean up behind the one with the perceived greater anointing?

I have an idea based upon Joshua’s response to God.  Read more about our studies in Joshua and what I have discovered here on Joy Comes in the Morning.
